i just watched Flood

A really wonderful cast and very talented technical crew wasted their valuable career time, and our equally valuable leisure time, by bothering to support this utterly predictable and plainly formulaic piece of commercial junk. The movie is based upon a really good and very topical idea but both the producers and the director simply applied the standard Hollywood 'disaster movie' formula and thereby ruined any potential value from the production.An unusually high tide and very strong gale conditions combine to produce a record high storm surge that overwhelms London and floods most of the Thames Valley. The plot centers around a heroic scientist (Tom Courtenay) who alerts the authorities of the danger and ultimately saves the day, a glamorous female police chief who runs the entire show and an embattled Deputy Prime Minister (David Suchet) who tries to look important.But it's all so unreal that one feels like an extended tea break after just 30 minutes. The young glamorous female Police Commissioner demands complete authority over the army during a declared State of Emergency and gets it (as if!). The experienced General is just pushed aside like a complete moron who has to lick her boots because of her obviously superior capacity. The trouble is that our female supremo, whilst now responsible for millions of lives, spends most of her time worrying over the fate of her two daughters who have taken a trip to South West London and haven't telephoned to say they were alright. So our mighty woman sets her staff to look for them and decides that the sole priority for all the army and the rescue services must be South West London and not any other quarter of the city. Of course the Minister, the Army and the entire entourage accept her prioritization without question. One can only assume they all had property there. When her children are eventually found after endless reports and efforts by her staff she is told by our male hero, 'Thank God they're safe, that's the main thing'. Never mind about the millions of others or all the other responsibilities she was supposed to control; as long as her own kids were safe everything was alright.

Is time to change

Joseph is very honest about his own past and it's not pretty. "I used to be a drug addict," he says, with unflinching bluntness. "I'll be real honest with you. I had a $400 a day cocaine addiction. I remember being 13 years old and thinking about taking a gun and putting it to my head and pulling the trigger. My father left me at the age of three. My only memories of my father were him beating my mother bloody. I'd never learned how to throw a football, I was the fat kid growing up, I didn't have any fishing trip stories with my dad because I didn't have a dad. I wanted to get picked. I was the guy who was passed up for every team at school. I was never picked. I'd go home and I'd cry my eyes out and I just wanted to end my life."

He continues, "I got involved with drugs and cocaine helped me to escape reality. I would do cocaine about once a month, then once a week, then it turned into once a day and before I knew it, I had a $400 a day cocaine addiction. I've been to jail over 20 times, I was looking at 10 years in prison and finally at the age of 20, I just decided that it was time for me to 'check-out'. I didn't want to live anymore."

Joseph's life changed the day he decided to kill himself. He decided to overdose on cocaine when he knew his family would not be around. He remembers, "My mother walked in unexpectedly and my chest began to hurt. I dropped to my knees and I was overdosing in front of her. She was crying out to Jesus, I didn't even believe in God but my mother was praying for me. The ambulance came and they picked me up. I was coming in and out of consciousness and I don't know how to explain it but everything inside me told me Jesus was real."

At that moment Joseph knew enough to cry out to Jesus for help. He explains, "I said, 'Would you save me?!' For the first time in my life, I felt like I got picked and it was amazing! I felt like I was a part of something and I belonged somewhere. My void was filled and life was different. In a split second, my whole life changed."

Having encountered God in the ambulance, Joseph began the process of living out his faith and allowing God to break his addiction. He shares honestly, "A lot of people like to have the story where it just ended but for me, I had to learn to look to Christ every single day or I wouldn't make it. God saved my life but I'd be lying if I said that I didn't have cravings. It would get to me at two o'clock in the morning. I'd wake up in the morning going, 'Man, I gotta get some cocaine!' and I'd struggle and struggle and I'd just cry out to God and he would quench that. The need I had for cocaine, he would quench it with his love. And it's true, it would just go away after I would pray. In Alcoholics Anonymous, they tell you to call the sponsor. That's always good to call a friend and I had some friends to call, but really I would call on Jesus and I would just say, 'I can't get through this, I need help.' He would always be there and I would get through it. I allowed God to work freely in my life and after three months, it was gone! I've been clean now almost eight years."

DIGIMON!!!!

Omnimon is the Digimon that results when WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon DNA Digivolve together to create a stronger Digimon. His body is entirely covered in white armor adorned with black, blue and yellow markings. His left arm ends in WarGreymon's head and his right arm with MetalGarurumon's, giving him two primary attacks (Transcendent Sword and Supreme Cannon). The cape he wears flows over the width of his body.
The name "Omnimon" is derived from "omni", an English prefix meaning "all". His Japanese name, "Omegamon", derives from the "omega", the last letter of the Greek alphabet. Also, because of his relationship with Alphamon. he and Alphamon are supposed to represent Alph and Omega.
His first appearance is in the second Digimon Adventure film, Our War Game!. WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon had tried unsuccessfully to defeat Diaboromon, a Digimon they followed into the Internet to prevent him from consuming all its data. When Tai and Matt were accidentally transported inside the Internet they gave their spiritual energy to their Digimon so that they could win - Omnimon formed and defeated Diaboromon.
In the second Digimon Adventure 02 movie, Revenge of Diaboromon, Omnimon reformed when the DigiDestined discovered that Diaboromon survived the first battle and returned to the Internet. Omnimon destroyed what he thought was Diaboromon but found that the battle had been a trap - he had been fighting a decoy that exploded to reveal the innumerable Kuramon that were sealed inside. After wreaking havoc in the Real World all of them fused to form Armageddemon, who Omnimon fought, but when he used his surpreme cannon to blow a hole in his forehead, Armageddemon shot out laser whips from the hole that defeated Omnimon. He gave his energy to Imperialdramon Fighter Mode (a more powerful version of Imperialdramon, the Mega Digimon formed when Veemon and Ken Ichijouji's partner Wormmon DNA Digivolve), who permanently destroyed Armageddemon when he Mode Changed into Imperialdramo Paladin Mode.

WarGreymon is Agumon's Mega form, possessing the "war" prefix due to his offensive capabilities. He is a humanoid version of Greymon with metal armor (Chrome Digizoid) encasing his head, shoulders, abdominals and legs. He is capable of independent flight - the wing-like projections on his back form his Brave Shield that he removes and uses to block attacks. WarGreymon has two large clawed gauntlets called Dramon Destroyers permanently attached to each arm. However, they have been known to crack occasionally during an intense fight, and on one instance they even broke completely off (when fighting Diaboromon). He is an extremely powerful Mega Digimon. In Digimon Adventure-Adventure 02, he is voiced by Lex Lang (US), and Chika Sakamoto (Japan).
WarGreymon made his initial appearance in "Prophecy" (along with MetalGarurumon) in Adventure during the battle with VenomMyotismon, who had infiltrated the Real World and intended to take it over along with the Digital World. Tai and Matt (partner to Gabumon, MetalGarurumon's primary form) allowed themselves to be struck by arrows from Angewomon (the Ultimate form of Gatomon, Kari Kamiya's partner) and Angemon (Patamon's Champion) in accordance with an ancient prophecy. Tai and Matt remained unharmed; the shot arrows gave Agumon and Gabumon the necessary energy to Warp Digivolve to Mega and destroy VenomMyotismon.When the Dark Masters Digimon took over the Digital World, WarGreymon fought and destroyed the first and third members that attacked the DigiDestined, MetalSeadramon and Machinedramon and with MetalGarurumon's and MagnaAngemon's help defeated the final Dark Master, Piedmon. WarGreymon was one of the Digidestined's primary fighters and often looked to as the one of the leaders of the group, often leading the digiteam in attack formation.
In Digimon Adventure 02 WarGreymon appeared twice in the series, the first time was to battle his doppelgänger and the series' anti-hero Digimon BlackWarGreymon. The fight was a dead heat until Imperialdramon Fighter Mode intervened.In his second appearance in the following episode, he was there when BlackWarGreymon was mortally wounded and held him up while trying to get him to save his strength.

MetalGarurumon is Gabumon's Mega form. He has mechanized his body completely. His belly is sky blue with Gabumon's symmetrical pink motifs. His tail has a striking resemblance to Gabumon's horn with a curved blade attached to the end. He has a pair of beamed wings on his back missal launcher. He has hidden weapons in his back, feet, legs, shoulders, stomach, eyes, and snout. Although he is mechanized he dose not lose his previous agility, speed, or alertness. He is capable of flight because of the wings. MetalGarurumon first appears in "Prophecy" when VenomMyotismon terrorized Tokyo. Angemon and Angewomon shot Matt and Tai, with their "Arrows of Hope and Light", as instructed to by a prophecy. This gave Gabumon and Agumon the power to Warp Digivolve to their mega forms. Together with WarGreymon (Agumon's Mega form), MetalGarurumon then destroyed their enemy. MetalGarurumon also appears again to fight against the Dark Masters. It was MetalGarurumon who destroyed Puppetmon, and also helped in the fight against Piedmon and Apocalymon. He is an extremely powerful Mega Digimon.

Christmas Week

25th December.

Well, this Christmas week was great and fun. On the 25th, at around 7:30am, my family and I quickly prepared food for the people that are coming to my house. It was 9:30 am when, we went over to my grand mother's house at Tabuan Jaya. We had our lunch there. At around 1 pm, we went back home, cause visitors are coming over to my house. It was around 3:30 pm, when Jasmine and Ben Ong had came to my house. Mack and Fanny showed up at the same time too. Jasmine invited me to go to Mark's house after that. That evening, my family and I went to my uncle's house, and I invited Mack and Mark to tag along. On the way back home, we stopped by at Mark's house. So, I stayed back to hang out. That night, Mark's brother gave me Tiger beer to drink, and he bought 4 cans. S*it, how am I suppose to finish that? Valerie and her family came over to Mark's house. Sasha and Andy came together with Valerie. After they all go back, I went back home too.

26th December.

On that morning, I receive a message and a call from Mack, saying that he invited me to go to his village at Serian, Kampong Pancur. My brother tagged along too. So, my brother and I pack some clothes to wear later. We use Kembara to go there, while Fanny was driving it. So, after that, we went over to Mark's house to fetch him. And, so our journey began! My brother sit in front while Mack, Mark and I sat the back. Before we go to Mack's kampong, we stop by at Valerie's house. Sasha and Andy was there too. Around 11:30am, we stop at Siburan to pass out and buy things. At about 12:30pm, we finally arrived. So, we went to Mack's aunties and uncle's house. At the second house, there were people singing/karoke and they were looking like they are completely drunk. We went to my brother 'friend' house that is on top of the hill. We relax there and had a drink. After visiting my brother friend house, we went to Mack's auntie house. On the way back, Mark was walking like a drunk person, cause it was his first time drinking, so we help him, to walk properly. We went over to Hot Spring, to calm down. At around 6pm, we took off, and went to Bau, cause there was a engagement dinner there. The engagement dinner was held at the Buddhists Village. On the way to Bau, we all sang along with the songs from the radio. Mark and I was sleepy, so we take a short nap. When we reach there, the people there had already started praying. After praying, we ate. We left Bau, at 9:45pm. I took a can of beer, to drink in the car. It was 10, we went to Mark's house, cause Fanny brought her cousin. I reach home, at about 10:30pm. It was tiring, yet, it was quite enjoyable.

huh the christmas party

the christmas party was fun and tiring.this party were held at smk st mary at the auditorium.participated all sunday school youth

well we decorate the auditorium on 19 december.and the christmas party on 20 december.we must wake up early to decorate and clean the auditorium.and that day was raining and cold.we must be there at 830am.damn!that early.its ok i don't have to do anything at hime,just do the same thing.well.before decorating,we sweep the floor,mop the floor and vacuum the carpet.than the boys go outside to scrub the tile at the outside cause many 'green things' stick on it.me,mack,mark peytris and ben ong together scrub the tile.we all scrun the tile with broom(not the normal broom).and that time also raining but not heavy little little.haha.after scrubing,we all back to auditorium to relax.and after that,we cut the ribbon to tide at the ballon.at 630pm we went back.

on the party day,we also need to wake up early because we all need to tide the ballon with the ribbon.when the other tide the ballon,me mack and mark peytris practising 3 christmas song,faliz navidad,santa clause comming to town,rudolfThe red nose reindeer.after we practising me and mack,play floods song by fightstar.i play piano and mack play guitar.after floods song mark peytris join in and played empty song by the click five,hosanna song and one way,with piano and guitar.after we played we stop and connect the wire and amplifier for the guitar and the microphone.at 12.00pm we got lunch time.but badly mark p.just broke the guitar string and i gotta buy new one at lee hock centre.at 1240pm than i eat.at 1.30pm some kids and with their parents were inside at the aditorium already.and me rawang and mark go outside to dry cloth.around 1.50 me and mack go to toilet to change cloth.than the party start....

yea finally finish painting!!

yea my living room finally finish painted.huh.purple is the colour of the living room.it started paint at around 8.30am until 5.30pm.well,at start i didn't help my brother and my father painting,cause i was too lazy to do work early at the morning.so,i take a breakfast and sit down for a while.around 9.30am than i start painting.it was raining that time.i use the small brush and my brother use the roller.at 12.15pm,we have a lunch and i took a bath.and we resume around 12.45pm.my hand full of pruple colour.i was got flu that time while i was painting.after finish the painting,my family re arrange the furniture at the normal place.and also sweep the floor,mop the floor and clean the some dusty thing at the living room.

trip to dulous(short review,some sentence are wrong)

huhu!!!yeah!!!!trip to dulous was fun and tiring.well...this trip is from st thomas and for all the kids.this trip is to the big ship in history.woah soo many people go there and alot of changed since i didn't go there.

well we are all waiting at the church to wait for the presence of kid and got there name tag to make sure they are from the st thomas kids.we start our trip at 2.10pm something like that.we use bus to go there.and we arrive there around 2.30pm something like that lah.than we all enter.at first the kids had having games in the ship.the games they play,i don't understand the game they played.second,we were rest for a while,than we go up to get some ice-cream.after we all go up,we all were eating ice-cream while waiting for the other finishing their ice-cream.around 4.30pm,we were back to the bus to going home.i think that all....

Medal of Honor Frontline is one of those games that will surprise PlayStation 2 owners by dazzling them with terrific gameplay, visual flair, and some of the best sound yet heard on Sony's console. Indeed, this World War II-themed first-person shooter is on the same level as the recently released and highly acclaimed Medal of Honor: Allied Assault for the PC, an outstanding game in its own right. Frontline takes the same cinematic approach that Allied Assault did, with a heavy emphasis on scripted events throughout its epic missions. While Frontline does have a few frustrating points, the game is more than good enough to outshine any shortcomings that it might have. Simply put, it's one of the best first-person shooter experiences available on a console.

Call Of Duty World At War Review

World at War takes us back to the series' roots of World War II, this time changing things up by setting it in both the Pacific conflict and the fall of Germany. Switching between a US Marine and a Russian Private, you will play two stories and fight against both the Japanese and German forces. That's about all I can say about that.
If there is a story in World at War, it doesn't come across very well. Unlike the previous title, there aren't really any interesting characters or a sense of plot outside of what actually happened in WWII. The game almost cynically attempts to recapture the shocking and dramatic moments of Modern Warfare at times, but the characters and events are so vaguely distinguished that you are never compelled to care. Only at the very end does the game approach anything that feels personal and interesting, but it's way too little, way too late

Tropic Thunder!!!!

Despite what you may have read lately, the biggest target of ridicule in "Tropic Thunder" a flashy, nasty, on-and-off funny and assaultive sendup of the film industry, is not the mentally retarded. Rather, the true targets of this extreme comedy’s free-flowing contempt are the stars, makers, brokers, miscellaneous supplicants and even die-hard fans of the movies, who are all portrayed as challenged in some fashion: intellectually, ethically, aesthetically, sartorially, chemically, longitudinally, you name it.

The joke is most definitely on, at least initially, Tugg Speedman, the preening, hard-bodied, soft-minded action star Mr. Stiller plays with such intimate knowing in “Tropic Thunder.” A blockbuster sensation who has maxed out the audience’s love with too many sequels and one misbegotten attempt to bait Oscar with a weepie called “Simple Jack,” in which he played a bucktoothed retarded man, Tugg is hoping to resuscitate his career by going gung-ho and grunt in a Vietnam War movie also called “Tropic Thunder.” With his co-stars — notably Robert Downey Jr.. as Kirk Lazarus, an awards-laden Australian, and Jack Black as Jeff Portnoy, a comic partial to fat suits and flatulence — Tugg is headed, yup, into the heartless darkness.
